Located on Mina Al Arab Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort spans 1.5 kilometers of mangroves and lagoons within a natural reserve

The Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, a new eco-luxury destination, is nearing completion and set to open in Q4 2023, marking the 9th property under the brand in the UAE. Situated on Mina Al Arab Island in Ras Al Khaimah, the resort spans 1.5 kilometers of mangroves and lagoons within a natural reserve.

“We look forward to welcoming guests into sustainable luxury at the upcoming Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort," says Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President of Minor Hotels Middle East and Africa. The resort features 174 guest accommodations, including the emirate’s first overwater villas, constructed with eco-friendly materials.

Sustainability is at the core of the resort’s design, incorporating measures such as greywater waste recycling, thermodynamics, and solar panels. Guests can enjoy stunning views from balconies or terraces, and overwater villas offer a secluded beach experience with private cabanas and a la carte service.

The Anantara Spa will offer treatments inspired by Arabian and Turkish culture, complemented by a fully equipped fitness center and an outdoor pool with a sunken bar. The resort's commitment to environmental preservation is evident in sustainability initiatives supporting the local wildlife.

With its proximity to Dubai, this eco-luxury resort aims to become a prime venue for meetings, events, weddings, and intimate celebrations. Sameh Muhtadi, CEO of RAK Properties, developer of the resort, emphasizes the alignment with the vision of Mina Al Arab in providing a luxury beachfront experience that respects the natural beauty of its surroundings.

In addition, Anantara plans to open a new Santorini-inspired luxury resort in Abu Dhabi in Q4 2023.
